The Nagoya Broadcasting Network presents this museum of ukiyo-e. Many images and well presented, but historical context is a bit shallow. Don't expect to see a lot of famous painters.

The Japan Ukiyo-E Museum

Drawn from the respected Sakai collection, The Japaen Ukiyo-E Museum is located in Matsumoto, Nagano Prefecture, Japan (Nagano Prefecture is where the 1998 Winter Olympics will be held). Unfortunately, the online exhibition is very weak with only a handful of images and no historical context given.

Tobacco & Salt Museum: Ukiyo-E

While focused rather narrowly on tobacco related prints, and somewhat small in size, the Tobacco & Salt Museum still managed to include historical context and tidbits of interest. Worth checking out. Watch out for a small leakage of Japanese two byte codes where indentation space was meant.
