From Houshi at the Awazu Onsen in the Hokuriku region of Japan (the oldest inn in the world, according to the Guinness Book of World Records) comes this quick look into the crafts of the Hokuriku region. It includes swordmaking, lacquerware, pottery and dyeing.

The Japan Folk Crafts Museum, Tokyo organized a tour in the USA of folk crafts from Mingeikan. This web page shows some of the collection included in the tour when it was at the Peabody Essex Museum.
